Holy Redeemer High School held its traditional Junior Class Ring Night, which included a blessing of the rings and celebration of the Eucharist. The Class of 2015, along with family, friends, and school staff, attended the annual event, held in the school’s McCarthy Auditorium.

Cameron Gill, class president, offered welcoming remarks, and Maria Khoudary and Ben Nause served as cantors. Psalmists were Ciaran Burke and Jade Broody. Readings were by Conlan McAndrew and Marlee Mierzwa, and Robert Bertram offered general intercessions.

Other student participants in the Mass included Renee Brown, Michael Gatusky, Justin Higgs, Matthew Lyons, Thea Seasock, and Matthew Wert.

The Rev. Father Joseph Elston, chaplain/dean of students, blessed the rings and gave the homily. Rings were distributed by Principal Anita Sirak, Vice Principal Abe Simon, and Director of Religious Formation James McDermott.

In following Holy Redeemer tradition, rings were presented to each class member by a fellow classmate, creating a circle among them and establishing a bond within the class of 2015.

A reception was held following the ceremony.
