Beginning in the fall, Marywood University will offer an online graduate program in criminal justice. “The online program will accommodate people’s busy schedules without weakening the integrity of a strong education,” said Jeremy Rich, Ph.D., associate professor and director of the criminal justice program at Marywood University. Two criminal justice courses on crime mapping and cybercrime will be offered this fall and will be taught by Mr. Jeffrey E. Clutter and Ms. Hannarae Lee.
Online Master of Physician Assistant Professional Studies
Marywood’s 30-credit online master’s degree in physician assistant professional studies (MPAPS) program provides quality graduate education to practicing Pas, to help them further develop their professional skills and contribute to their field. All courses are online, making it convenient for PAs to earn a master’s degree while working. A MPAPS degree will enable students to: teach at the college level; conduct scholarly research; publish work and present at conferences; and prepare students for administrative roles in healthcare organizations.
Online Principal Certification
Marywood University’s principal certification program, which is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, educates school principals who serve children, families, teachers, and communities in ethical and inspiring ways. Courses are delivered in hybrid and online formats, with periodic on-campus workshops that offer the opportunity to network with current and aspiring school leaders, learn from engaging speakers, and review coursework. Classes are taught by experienced principals, superintendents, and other school administrators from Northeast Pennsylvania.
Online Autism Spectrum Disorder Endorsement
The 12-credit accelerated online autism spectrum disorder (ASD) program is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and can be completed in just two semesters. All classes are online, making them convenient for working professionals. Coursework is supplemented by 80 hours of field experience, which allows students to work directly with children with ASD.
