The Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County recently held its annual “School-to-Work” Banquet honoring local employers and students that participate in Cooperative Education. The Cooperative Education program at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County allows outstanding students to explore an actual work experience in their selected field. This is a one-year opportunity for seniors who have been recommended by their career and technical education instructor and sending school. The work experience is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of the actual employment setting and apply the techniques, skills, and academics gained throughout their educational experience. If you would like to obtain more information on the Cooperative Education program at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County contact Earl Bishop at 570-346-8471.
