Frontier Communications has donated $3,000 to the Abington Heights Educational Improvement Organization (AEIO). The funds will be used to supplement and enhance the educational environment and programs within the Abington Heights School District. AEIO brings together ideas, people and resources to support innovative educational programs outside the regular school curriculum.
Popular Abington Heights School District programs supported by the AEIO grants are: Model United Nations, Lithium Science Club, Odyssey of the Mind, FIRST Robotics, Russian Olympiada, Greenhouse, Music Technology Lab, Weather Bug, Drama Society, Arts Alliance, TV Stations, Summer Arts Alive, Science Olympiad, Aquaponics/Aquaculture, The Gathering and the Kuiper Award for Teaching Excellence.
