The West Scranton AP Physics Class used their knowledge of phase transformation, vacuum, and atmospheric pressure to successfully demonstrate the classic “Oil Drum Crush”. A 55 gallon steel oil drum was imploded using only atmospheric pressure which we all take for granted in our daily lives.
