Fillmore

This man does not look happy. Thoughtful. Serious. Pensive, maybe, but not really happy. Then again, you’d look less than charmed if you were largely forgotten.

The fellow pictured above is Millard Fillmore, and on this day in 1850, he became the 13th President of the United States. He tends to be one of the more overlooked presidents, along with Benjamin Harrison, Zachary Taylor and Chester A. Arthur.

It’s surprisingly (and dismayingly) easy to get lost in the shuffle. Even the best of people (or items) can go unnoticed, and that’s a shame. Here at Paper Shop, we really do our best to help you make your item stand out. We offer to print your ad in bold type for just $3. We’ll happily help you update the wording of your ad at any time. And, perhaps most excitingly, we invite you to come on the air any Saturday to talk about what you’re selling – for free, no less. Simply let us know that you’d like to be on the show, and we’ll make arrangements to get you on the air. Or even call in yourself on Saturday mornings: 1-888-303-0630.
