Fall has arrived it’s now time to decorate

Now that Fall has arrived it’s now time to decorate a little to celebrate the season, but what to do?

Adding fall flowers, pumpkins, gourds, hay bales, corn stalks, and simple decorating touches to your porch creates a warm and inviting entry for guests.  Red, yellow and orange are your classic colors for fall or you can try something different.  A farm-house display of soft white pumpkins with pastel accents and rustic planters.

Create a fall porch seating area.  Set a simple bench or Adirondack chair against and exterior wall or railing. Layer it with weather-resistant pillows and throws.  Fill planters with fall flowers. Complete the décor with gourds tucked between the planters.

Frame your door with fall décor.  Corn stalks or a leaf garland around your door will make a big impact without taking a lot of space.  Use those old wheelbarrows, planters or wagons.  Fill them with pumpkins, gourds, leaves, etc.

There are plenty of easy fall porch decorating ideas.  You’re really only limited by your imagination.  Most designs will allow you to enjoy all the way to Thanksgiving.
