West Scranton High School’s Feed A Friend Collection
West Scranton High School’s food drive for Feed A Friendconcluded on Friday, November 18 with a total of approximately 1,500 non-perishable canned food items as well as 38 turkeys. The annual collection benefits the local United Neighborhood Centers, and is sponsored by West Scranton’s student council and class officers. This year, the freshman class contributed the greatest number of donations, making them the overall victors of West Scranton’s intramural competition. The winners of the individual classroom competition went to Mr. Ken Murphy’s 10th grade homeroom.
West Scranton High School has been participating in the Feed A Friend food drive for the past 10 years. This year marked our largest and most successful collection to date.
