Shown receiving her plaque for being selected as the 2015 Shenandoah Valley Female Scholar Athlete is Kristina Nieddu. This event was sponsored by the Schuylkill County Women’s Athletic Association and held at the Pine View Acres in Pottsville, Pa. Kristina has earned 12 Varsity letters for her participation in Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, & Track. Academically she is ranked in the Top 5 of her class, and is a member of the National Honor Society, and President of the Student Council. Although she has received offers to play college basketball she has decided to forego playing basketball and instead concentrated on pursuing a career in nursing at Bloomsburg University.
