Rachel’s Challenge a national program developed to create a chain reaction of kindness  will take place on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 6:30pm in the Valley View High School Auditorium.   The program is open to the public and free of charge.

Rachel’s Challenge is a program developed after the Columbine High School shooting on April 20, 1999.  Rachel Scott was the first victim of the tragic day.  While her life was tragically cut short Rachel’s kindness and compassion can’t be defeated by death.  The inspiring story of one girl’s dream is fulfilled in this powerful presentation and a reminder of how little things can be the difference in making this world a better place.

Valley View High School Seniors Alexsis Hermann and Mackenzie Swift will be the chairpersons for this event.  They are asking for donations from the community for basket raffles, gift certificates, or monetary donations to help support the cost of the program.

Anyone interested in donation can contact them no later than January 30, 2015.
