35 students at West Scranton High School earned medals and honors for outstanding performance on the 2018 National Spanish Examination. Students from West Scranton earned gold, silver, and bronze medals, along with numerous scholar medals marking honorable performance.
The National Spanish Examinations are administered each year in grades 6 through 12, and are sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. This year’s medalists at West Scranton are students of Mrs. Maureen Walsh.
