West Scranton freshmen Joshua Safuto and Victoria Reilly participated in the PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) Region IV String Fest, which was held at Wyoming Seminary School on March 14, 2018. These students were nominated by their director, Laurie Burdett, and were chosen to play in an orchestra of over 100 students from Northeast Pennsylvania. It was a fun and challenging program for the students, and the day concluded with a concert at 7:00 p.m.
